What can cause perimenopause spotting and how to identify its symptoms? Since perimenopause is such a transitional time from reproductive period to out of reproductive period, some women may experience perimenopause spotting. This period is such opening of menopause period. Menopause is the period when a woman is no longer experiencing menstruation and ovulation due to the age. Spotting or bleeding is actually common. There are several things which cause perimenopause spotting. Dryness of vagina can cause perimenopause spotting. The substance which functions to lubricate vagina is oestrogen. Besides, this hormone functions the ovaries. When menopause comes, the oestrogen level will be low. That is why the lubrication might be vanished. The dryness is often companied with stinging, itching, burning and also perimenopause spotting. Such symptoms of the spotting tend to be experienced after intercourse activities. You can lessen such problems with lubrication. 

Atrophy is a disease found at uterus or vagina which can also cause this kind of spotting. It is due to decreased of the oestrogen hormone level. The result is that the blood vessels are spontaneous bursting. This is the house of vagina and uterus lining. The lining of uterus is so thin. Therefore, the vessel of the blood becomes weak. This could lead such a spotting.  

Along the stage of menopause transition period, perimenopause, the hormone level of oestrogen is decreasing. At this stage, you might still have your menstruation or sometime perimenopause spotting. However, thanks to the oestrogen imbalance, the cycle of the menstruation will be not regular. A lot of cases find perimenopause spotting within cycles. You might also experience bleeding at the other menopause stages. But, it is not associated with menstrual bleeding. Instead, it is such an indication if there might a problem in the healthy term.

Polyps located on uterine can be also the cause of perimenopause spotting. The polyps are usually growing at the uterus form. This problem is due to the overgrowth of endometrial lining cells. The overgrowth makes the polyps growing. The shape is like a small blub. It is attached on a thin base.

The cause which has a big role in establishing the uterine polyps is imbalance in hormone. The symptoms of perimenopause spotting especially due to hormonal imbalance include asymptomatic to abnormal spotting and even cramping. The more possible sufferers for such a case are women between 40 -50 years old.
